Our commitment
We work to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA across the site. Accessibility is treated as a requirement, not an afterthought — every page is designed to work with a keyboard and a screen reader before it ships.
What we do
- Include accessibility as part of our development and review process for every page template.
- Test pages against automated accessibility scanners and conduct manual keyboard and screen-reader passes before launch.
- Honor user preferences for reduced motion — animations, marquee motion, and auto-rotating sections are paused when the operating system requests it.
- Provide visible focus indicators, skip links, and semantic headings and landmarks on every page.
- Publish long-form editorial copy at a reading-ease level appropriate for a general professional audience.
Tested with
We regularly test bemotivant.com with the following combinations of operating system, browser, and assistive technology:
- macOS with Safari and VoiceOver;
- Windows with Chrome, Edge, and NVDA;
- iOS with Safari and VoiceOver;
- Android with Chrome and TalkBack;
- Keyboard-only navigation across every template.
Known limitations
We are aware of the limitations below and are working to resolve each one. This list is updated as issues are identified and as fixes land.
- Formal third-party audit pending. The current statement reflects our internal self-assessment. An independent WCAG 2.1 AA audit is planned following launch; the summary will be published here.
- Marquee animations. The logo and editorial marquees on the homepage respect
prefers-reduced-motion, but we are still polishing pause-on-focus behavior for keyboard users. - Image alt text. Some portfolio and editorial imagery currently uses short alt text pending final photography delivery. Long-form descriptions are being added as commissioned shoots replace stock stand-ins.
- Embedded third-party content. Where the site embeds content from third-party platforms (video players, partner widgets), we cannot always guarantee conformance of the embedded content itself and we are reviewing each embed for accessible alternatives.
Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on bemotivant.com, or have a suggestion for how we can improve, please write to us at partnerships@bemotivant.com. We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within five business days and to provide a substantive response within fifteen. When you write in, please include the page URL, the browser and assistive technology you use, and a description of the barrier.
Assessment approach
We self-assess the site against WCAG 2.1 Level AA using a combination of automated scanners and manual keyboard and screen-reader passes on every page template. We plan to engage an independent accessibility reviewer following launch and will publish the summary of any external audit here.
